We all want our Pine-Richland students to have the best possible educational experience and to be prepared for success in the rapidly changing world that extends far beyond our school district. The PR school board has the duty to ensure that our district continues to improve so that each student has what they need to thrive. Unfortunately, our current school board majority is failing our families, staff, and community. Rather than putting students first and focusing on ways to improve, they are creating chaos, undermining staff and administrators through overreach, inserting politics, and ignoring community concerns. We can and should do better for our children.

Value and utilize the training and experience of PR's staff and administrators.
Encourage accurate teaching, independent thought, and discovery.
Make decisions that are based on accurate information from reliable sources.
Keep politics out of board decisions.
Can be trusted to act in good faith and are willing to collaborate.
Show up to meetings prepared and ready to engage.
Respond to and consider community concerns.
While some PR school board members are creating problems and grievances to divide and distract us, the Together for PR slate of school board candidates — Liz, Amy, Melissa and Randy — are focused on the things that matter, like helping students learn and helping educators teach. They want to find practical solutions for the real issues our district faces. So instead of attacking kids and teachers, removing books, and dividing us with chaos, they will work to make our schools better for everyone.
