We are concerned Pine-Richland community members working to hold current school directors accountable to keep the community informed. We seek and support board members who have knowledge of the district and who have demonstrated a commitment to providing every student an exceptional, inclusive education and to lifting up our school district in every decision.

PR parents and students deserve school directors who:

• Prioritize the success and well-being of PR students and schools in every decision

• Respect and learn from the knowledge, training and experience of PR's outstanding staff and administrators

• Work to ensure PR environments are inclusive and welcoming for everyone

• Encourage accurate teaching that allows for robust engagement, independent thought, and discovery

• Make decisions that are based on accurate information from reliable sources

• Keep their personal politics and religion out of board decisions

• Are knowledgeable about and respectful of the decision-making process and the need for transparency 

• Show up to meetings prepared and ready to engage

• Listen and respond to community members' concerns — including those they disagree with

• Act professionally, ethically and responsibly as representatives of our students' school district
